Kevin Marshall

Director, Lead Mentoring Practitioner & Designated Safeguarding Lead

Kevin is a seasoned Mentor and Youth Practitioner specialising in theory-led, trauma-informed mentoring and community engagement. He brings a unique blend of lived experience and professional expertise, offering a calm, flexible and relational approach that builds immediate trust with young people. Kevin’s expertise lies in navigating complex barriers in a flexible, adaptive and patient manner, whilst fostering resilience in those who feel disconnected from mainstream support. He is dedicated to meeting young people where they are, using activity-led engagement as a vehicle to build lasting, positive change and improved outcomes. As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), he ensures all practice acts in accordance with multi-agency procedures and statutory safety requirements.

Shelley Lyon-Marshall

Social Worker & Deputy Safeguarding Lead

With over 13 years of qualified Social Work practice, Shelley provides the professional governance and practice leadership for EMASS. Her extensive background in social care, safeguarding, and operational leadership alongside lived experience, ensures that the service maintains the highest statutory standards. Shelley is responsible for ensuring that interventions are safely and effectively managed by providing case management support and oversight—led by brilliance in reflective and theory-informed practice. She ensures that the outcomes and quality reporting provided by EMASS—including comprehensive progress mapping—aligns with the professional integrity and precision required by our partners and families.
